Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing high performing technical teams.
• Hands-on design, development, testing, or manufacturing of controllable solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, technical execution, and project engineering of complex rocket motor systems.
• Serve as Engineering Site Manager for a ~20 engineer team in Long Beach.
• Balance leadership with direct technical responsibilities (~75% management).
• Oversee site leadership, staffing, and compliance with timekeeping.
• Collaborate with chief engineers, systems engineering, and program managers.
