Job summary

Pella Corporation's Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a comprehensive rotational program designed to accelerate the development of early‑career engineers through hands‑on experience, cross‑functional exposure, and leadership development.

Participants rotate across Corporate HQ and manufacturing locations, gain engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain exposure, and deliver projects that improve processes, quality, and business results while building a strong professional

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Current students nearing graduation and early-career engineers with up to three years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership through coursework, student organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, CAD, 3D modeling, or related engineering tools preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments and future career opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering, manufacturing, and operations initiatives through project work and rotational assignments.
  • Develop technical expertise across multiple disciplines and technologies.
  • Apply engineering principles to solve business and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, products, quality, and operational performance.
  • Build relationships and learn from leaders across the organization.
  • Develop leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Contribute to projects that drive business results and support organizational goals.
