Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Recruiting Manager, Engineering to lead and develop the recruiting team responsible for hiring exceptional engineering and technical talent across the organization.

This hands-on, player-coach role combines people leadership with full-cycle recruiting. You will own a portfolio of engineering requisitions, source candidates, screen, interview, and close hires, in a fast-paced hardware, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or deep-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including engineering or highly technical roles.
• Experience leading recruiting teams and developing recruiters in a fast-paced hardware/manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to source, screen, and close senior-level engineering talent and manage multiple requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters supporting engineering and technical hiring across Divergent.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned engineering positions, including senior-level and hard-to-fill searches.
• Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake meetings, define candidate profiles, interview plans, and recruiting strategies.
• Proactively source passive engineering talent via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and research across channels.
• Review applicants, conduct screens for technical alignment, and maintain candidate pipelines.
• Develop offer strategies with leadership and close candidates to meet hiring timelines.
• Maintain high-quality candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
