Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Recruiting Manager, Engineering to lead and develop the engineering recruiting team while personally owning a portfolio of engineering requisitions.

You will source, screen, interview, and close highly specialized talent in hardware, manufacturing, aerospace, and related deep-tech fields, partnering with hiring managers and leadership to optimize recruiting strategies and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with engineering or highly technical talent.
• 2+ years of managing, leading, or formally developing recruiters.
• Experience with recruiting tech; Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters supporting engineering and technical hiring across Divergent.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned engineering positions, including senior and difficult-to-fill roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, interview plans, and recruiting strategies.
• Proactively source and engage passive engineering talent through sourcing channels.
• Review applicants and conduct screens to assess technical alignment and fit.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
• Manage candidates through interview process and close hires with offers.
• Develop sourcing strategies and optimize recruiting processes and data quality.
