Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Westlake, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects, delivering on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will define scope, develop schedules, manage costs, coordinate engineers and vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities. This role requires up to 10 years of PM experience, PE or PMP preferred, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define Scope, Objectives, and Deliverables – Establish full project scope and success criteria.
• Develop and Manage the Project Plan & Schedule – Create detailed execution plans and maintain the schedule baseline.
• Control Budget and Financial Performance – Estimate costs and manage capital spend within approved limits.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams – Coordinate engineers, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory Compliance – Drive adherence to HSE requirements and standards.
• Manage Risk Proactively – Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee Procurement and Contractor Management – Develop bid packages and manage contractor performance.
• Monitor Progress and Control Project Execution – Track KPIs and take corrective actions.
• Communicate with Stakeholders and Leadership – Provide clear reporting to Kronos leadership and operations.
• Manage Change, Quality, and Project Closeout – Control scope changes and lead commissioning and handover.
