Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage promotional projects and minimize cost to Hargrove while estimating Professional Services man hours.
• Manage commercial contracts on projects, ensure timely invoicing, process Change Notices, review Office Earnings Reports (OER).
• Maintain control of project budget, schedule, and quality using project controls tools.
• Participate in major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions on assigned projects.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with client teams and stakeholders.
• Champion Project Change Notices and promote a positive Change Management culture.
• Lead and develop the project team and coordinate resource requirements.
• Communicate plans to team, leadership, client, and conduct weekly coordination meetings.
• Produce timely reporting including weekly and monthly reports and action items.
• Review engineering documents and submittals for compliance with drawings and client specs.
• Ensure standard project work processes are followed across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Assess performance of project team and maintain budget health with discipline leads.
• Ensure client approvals and documentation are properly reviewed.
• Provide Construction Phase Support and respond to RFIs as needed.
• Maintain positive client relations and complete project closeout per contract.
