Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Mobile, Alabama seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects, delivering on time, within budget, and to quality expectations under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will manage scope, schedule, and cost while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, maintaining client alignment, and guiding project controls from conception through closeout. A PMP or PE and up to 10 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
• Certification: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
• Experience: Up to 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management, with refinery/oil/gas or petrochemical background.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality for moderately complex engineering projects.
• Oversee invoices, change notices, and monthly earnings reporting.
• Coordinate resources and lead weekly team coordination meetings.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure alignment of deliverables with stakeholder goals.
• Review engineering documents and submittals for compliance with specs and standards.
