RWDI is seeking a Project Manager to identify and secure new business in the engineering consulting sector in Portland, OR. You will lead proposals, manage contracts, and guide a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes client relationships, accurate reporting, and travel as needed. A bachelor's in Engineering or a related field is required; proven BD and project delivery experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and project management within the engineering consulting sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Strong understanding of building design, construction processes, codes and standards.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, negotiating, and facilitating new business.
• Creating and delivering proposals including scope, fees, and qualifications for RFPs.
• Developing strong client relationships and managing key accounts.
• Leading project teams to meet objectives and ensuring quality deliverables.
• Ensuring project performance, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.
• Managing project finances, invoicing, and receivables.
• Ensuring QA processes meet company standards and scope.
• Tracking industry trends to deliver innovative services.
• Developing and presenting at project meetings and industry events.
