Job summary

RWDI in Los Angeles is seeking a Project Manager to identify, pursue, and secure new business in the engineering consulting sector. You will guide projects from proposal through delivery, build client relationships, and lead a team of consultants to meet objectives.

The role requires a strategic mindset, proven BD and PM experience, and ability to communicate technical concepts to clients. Travel as needed and a strong focus on quality, on-time delivery, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development and project management within the engineering consulting sector.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Understanding of building design and construction processes, codes, standards, and protocols.
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to clients effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Source, negotiate, and facilitate new business.
Create and deliver proposals including scope, fees, and qualifications for RFPs.
Develop strong working relationships with clients.
Oversee a team of RWDI consultants to meet project objectives and supervise documentation.
Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery and that client expectations are met or exceeded.
Manage project finances including tracking revenue, invoicing, and receivables.
Ensure quality assurances are completed and meet company standards and project scope.
Track industry developments to deliver innovative services and outputs.
Develop and deliver presentations at project meetings and industry events.
