RWDI in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Manager to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the engineering consulting sector. You will lead efforts to manage and close projects while cultivating strong client relationships.

The role requires strategic thinking, proven project management experience, and the ability to travel as needed; reporting to Greg Thompson within Project Delivery - Zone 4. Competitive compensation will reflect responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and project management within engineering consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Understanding of building design, construction processes, codes, standards and protocols.
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to clients and maintain relationships.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: sourcing, negotiating, and securing new business.
• Proposal and Contract Management: creating and delivering proposals for public and client RFPs.
• Client Relationship Management: developing strong working relationships with clients.
• Project Oversight: guiding a team toward meeting objectives and reviewing technical documentation.
• Project Performance: ensuring on-time, quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Financial Management: tracking revenue, issuing invoices, and managing receivables.
• Quality Assurance: ensuring QA processes meet standards and scope.
• Innovation: tracking industry developments to deliver relevant services and new deliverables.
• Presentations and Conferences: delivering presentations at meetings and events.
