Job summary

Town of Jupiter is seeking a Project Manager to lead design, construction, inspection, operation, and oversight of municipal projects. The role requires independent judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the Senior Project Engineer under the Director of Engineering & Public Works, with duties spanning contractor coordination, technical guidance, and contractual administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; professional engineering or equivalent is acceptable.
• Minimum five (5) years of project management experience, preferably in technical or capital projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and codes; knowledge of Florida Building Code a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and ensures compliance with Town codes, Florida Building Code, and engineering standards.
• Oversees construction projects to meet plans, budgets, timelines, and safety requirements.
• Performs field inspections of municipal and development projects for compliance with approved plans.
• Prepares reports, bid packages, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Develops stakeholder relationships and coordinates with departments and external partners.
