Job summary

The Head of Technology at Tallo, part of Stride, Inc., leads the engineering and technology org, guiding software, QA, and staff across multiple teams. This working leadership role partners with Product, Data, Marketing, and company leadership to translate strategy into execution and drive AI/ML initiatives for growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll shape architecture, set engineering standards, and ensure delivery against the roadmap while maintaining system health and security for a young user

Qualifications

Extensive software engineering leadership experience.
Proven ability to lead multi‑team organizations and managers.
Strong background in cloud‑based architectures and DevOps.
Experience in data/AI enabled features and ML strategies.
Excellent communication and executive collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the engineering organization and define structure.
Set technical direction and architecture for the platform.
Partner with product, data, marketing, and leadership to execute strategy.
