Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a Head of Technology to lead Tallo's engineering and technology organization, shaping architecture, security, data strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration in a working leadership role reporting to the CEO.

This leader will oversee engineering managers and senior staff, drive delivery against the product roadmap, and guide the long‑term evolution of the platform, including AI/ML value creation for users and business growth.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in software engineering and senior leadership of multi‑team organizations.
• Proven experience hiring, developing leaders, and building scalable team structures.
• Strong background in modern cloud architectures, DevOps practices, and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take over an existing engineering team and develop it to deliver durable systems and user outcomes.
• Define and evolve architectural standards, practices, and technical direction across the platform.
• Partner with Product, Data, Marketing and leadership to translate strategy into execution while focusing on AI/ML where it adds value.
