Job summary

APR Staffing seeks an Eng Supp Spec 2 - Engineering Operations Specialist to coordinate project materials for construction and maintenance. The role supports PMs, engineers, CORs, COs and shipping teams to ensure materials are ordered, tracked and delivered on schedule.

You will work with BES/Asset Suite and PowerBI to analyze material costs and ensure accuracy of inventories, while adhering to contract requirements and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong understanding of material and inventory control in a project/contract environment.
• Experience with end-to-end logistics and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of government/contracting procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review Bills of Materials and availability of Government Furnished Materials to ensure materials meet NTP timelines.
• Generate and share material lists with contractors and internal teams.
• Track material status and communicate issues to project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with COR/CO/COs and internal departments to expedite materials and resolve shortages.
• Prepare material returns and coordinate with IRC for disposition.
