Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an Engineering Manager - Transmission Line to lead engineering, design and drafting for projects across transmission infrastructure. You will supervise engineers, conduct studies, and develop solutions to mitigate system risk while optimizing capital investments.

Strong background in high voltage projects and safety standards is essential. The role focuses on managing major design efforts, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, structural, mechanical or civil engineering is required.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of various standards and codes.
• Ability to make sound business and financial judgments and quick decisions.
• Understanding of engineering theories, evaluating alternatives, and presenting recommendations.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and oversee quality of team deliverables.
• Ensure compliance by staying abreast of codes and standards.
• Plan/coordinate pole loading.
• Define plan of control.
• Direct/supervise junior engineers.
• Provide detailed engineering, design and planning assessments and recommendations.
• Evaluate system operations and develop project scopes for overhead/underground systems.
• Plan and coordinate studies on projects with complex engineering solutions addressing risk, reliability and capacity.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
