Quanta Government Solutions seeks an Engineering Manager - Transmission Line to lead engineering, design and drafting for high-voltage infrastructure projects. The role focuses on supervising a team, performing engineering studies, and delivering safe, compliant solutions across construction, upgrades, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical, structural, mechanical, or civil engineering and have 10+ years of industry experience, with strong codes

Qualifications

• Strong background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Ability to oversee engineering studies and design reviews.
• Experience supervising junior engineers and directing teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical supervision and oversee team deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Plan/coordinate pole loading for transmission lines.
• Define plan of control for projects.
• Direct and mentor junior engineers.
• Provide detailed engineering, design and planning assessments.
• Evaluate system operations and develop project scope for overhead/underground systems.
• Plan and coordinate studies addressing system risk and capacity.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
