Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an Engineering Manager - Transmission Line to lead a team responsible for the safe, reliable delivery of high-voltage transmission infrastructure. You will supervise engineering studies, design and drafting, and collaborate on projects from construction through maintenance, ensuring standards of safety and performance are upheld.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering background with ability to perform analyses and design tasks.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a team of engineers.
• Experience with high-voltage infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and oversee quality of team deliverables
• Ensure compliance by being abreast of codes and standards
• Plan/coordinate pole loading
• Define plan of control
• Direct/supervise junior engineers
• Provide detailed engineering, design and planning assessments and recommendations
• Evaluate system operations, and provide project scope development for overhead and underground utility systems
• Plan, develop and coordinate engineering studies on projects with complex engineering solutions to address system risk, reliability and capacity limitations
• Additional duties as needed and/or assigned
