Datavant is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Platform Continuity, the operational backbone of our multi-cloud infrastructure. You’ll run a distributed team of senior SREs across the US, Ireland, and Spain, owning the intake process, driving automation, and ensuring reliable platform health.

You will partner with Cloud Platform teams to reduce toil, define clear boundaries, and implement playbooks that scale.

Formación

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including distributed or international teams.
• Strong cloud infra operations background with credibility with senior SREs.
• Knowledge of Terraform/IaC; hands-on infra state management and hygiene at scale.
• Kubernetes operational knowledge (EKS/AKS) and cluster health.
• Experience with AWS (required) and Azure (nice to have) in regulated environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop senior and staff-level SREs across multiple time zones.
• Own the Operational Intake & Acceptance process with runbooks and architecture context.
• Drive shift-left and automation to reduce repeatable toil.
• Manage operational work across IaC hygiene, VDI compute, monitoring, cost management, and SRE support.
• Establish and track a north star KTLO metric and maintain a reproducible playbook library.
• Define intake criteria to keep ITSD scope clear and avoid scope creep.
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform leadership to maintain ownership boundaries.
• Serve as escalation point for platform-wide issues including production access and state remediation.
