Job summary

Prove is seeking a Senior Manager of Platform Engineering to lead two Ireland-based teams: Platform Developer Enablement and Site Reliability Engineering. You will drive cloud infrastructure design, implement scalable solutions, and push toward higher platform maturity with self-service capabilities.

The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and collaboration with product teams, security, and other engineering leaders to translate business needs into scalable platform features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of senior-level experience as a Software Engineer, SRE, and/or Platform Engineer.
• 5+ years of management experience leading and coaching other managers.
• Deep experience running SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong technical background with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitOps, ArgoCD).
• Programming skills (Go, Java, or similar) to provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead two teams (Platform Developer Enablement & SRE), fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Define the platform roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Champion DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Oversee design and operation of the platform to meet product and stakeholder needs.
