Datavant is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Platform Continuity, a new team serving as the operational backbone of multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure). You will build from the ground up, scale a distributed SRE-focused group, and drive automation to reduce manual toil.

You will oversee IaC hygiene, monitoring, cost management, and runbooks, ensuring smooth orchestration across time zones in the US, Ireland, and Spain. Strong leadership and technical credibility are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Strong technical credibility with staff-level SREs.
• Knowledge of Terraform/IaC; managing infrastructure state at scale.
• Solid Kubernetes operational knowledge (EKS/AKS) and node management.
• Experience with AWS; Azure is a plus in regulated environments.
• Hands-on observability experience with Datadog; monitor management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, develop, and retain a distributed team across the US, Ireland, and Spain.
• Own the Operational Intake & Acceptance process with runbooks and architecture context.
• Drive shift-left and automate repeatable patterns; collaborate with Cloud Platform Tools.
• Manage operational work: IaC hygiene, VDI compute, monitoring, cost management, SRE support.
• Define and track a north star metric for KTLO reduction and documentation quality.
• Build and maintain a playbook library for reproducible, auditable operations.
• Ensure proper intake criteria and ownership boundaries across teams.
