Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager for its People Applications team. You will lead a high‑performing full‑stack group across US and Hungary, shaping both technical direction and product strategy.

Focus areas include data pipelines, automation, and AI tool integrations to enhance the employee experience across all DoorDash brands. You will collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑impact experiences while driving operational excellence and

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
2+ years of people management leading 5+ engineers.
7+ years in software development, preferably HR‑related apps.
Experience with distributed systems design, scaling, and performance optimization.
Experience with Generative AI development and prompt flows.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high‑performing full‑stack engineering team across multiple DoorDash locations (US and Hungary).
Define the architectural roadmap and drive technical vision for the People Applications team.
Oversee development of core product experiences, data pipelines, automation, and AI tool integrations.
Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user‑friendly solutions.
Establish development, testing, release, and monitoring best practices for operational excellence.
Leverage AI and automation to improve developer velocity and business outcomes.
