Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager for the People Applications team to build and scale 1P HR-related products. You will shape technical direction, drive architectural roadmap, and deliver data pipelines, automation and AI integrations that enhance employee experiences across all brands.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders, plus a focus on reliability, velocity, and best practices in development and deployment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years managing full-stack teams of 5+ engineers.
• 7+ years in software development, ideally HR-related apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of full stack engineers across multiple locations.
• Define architectural roadmap for the team.
• Oversee development of core People Applications with data pipelines and AI integration.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into value.
• Establish development, testing, release, and monitoring best practices.
