Job summary

Bosch Rexroth is seeking an Engineering Manager for Mechanical Conveyance (Sustaining & MODI) to lead a skilled engineering team focused on lifecycle management, local manufacturing support, and customization of standard conveyance systems.

You will maintain a seamless bridge between developers, purchasing, manufacturing, and global partners, ensure MODI modifications are efficient, and drive cost reduction while keeping quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of total experience in mechanical design or engineering.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Sustaining Engineering and Design-to-Cost (DTC).
• Experience with 3D CAD, PLM/SAP tooling, and cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary mechanical engineering team.
• Serve as primary interface to MODI Team (Germany) and US Application Team.
• Oversee modification architecture, BOM control, and change management.
• Drive cost innovation and local sourcing initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and global partners.
