Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager for Mechanical Conveyance (Sustaining & MODI) to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive life-cycle support, local manufacturing assistance, and customization under MODI. You will bridge developers, purchasing, manufacturing, and global partners to optimize standard products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience in mechanical design or engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership, technical project lead, or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD platforms and PLM/SAP databases (Creo/SolidWorks, Windchill/SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day sustaining engineering work packages and local customer modification requests.
• Synchronize regularly with the MODI and US Application teams to maintain cross-border alignment.
• Evaluate and sign off on mechanical designs, tolerance analyses, and material selection for cost-reduction initiatives.
• Report department performance, engineering release status, and cost-saving metrics to the Department Head.
