You will define strategy, build a roadmap, and partner with Product, Operations, Data Science and Engineering to deliver scalable services while maintaining high standards for security and reliability. Qualifications

• 9+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing a team.
• Experience with distributed systems and backend service development.
• Experience shipping user-facing features and owning their metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers.
• Set the strategy, road map, and measurable goals for the maps team.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science and Engineering teams and executives.
• Evaluate tradeoffs and ensure code correctness, security, and production readiness.
