Job summary

Reliance One, Inc. seeks a senior engineering leader in Spartanburg to direct and coordinate all plant engineering activities. You will define processes, lead cross-functional improvements, and drive lean initiatives to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires five+ years of people leadership in an automotive or manufacturing setting, with IATF knowledge and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of people leadership experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF quality systems is required or preferred based on site.
• Willingness to travel to facilities or customer locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates engineering activities within the plant to align with policy, safety, and quality targets.
• Defines manufacturing processes for current, service and new products and leads improvement efforts.
• Develops policies, procedures, and systems for manufacturing operations and lean initiatives.
• Collaborates with other departments to meet functional requirements at low cost.
• Defines work quoting, bills of materials, routing, standards, and equipment needs.
• Mentors and develops engineering, maintenance, and program staff.
