Challenge Manufacturing’s Spartanburg plant is seeking an Sr Engineering Manager to direct and optimize the plant engineering group, driving efficiency, cost reduction, and new program launches. You will lead Manufacturing and Controls Engineers, develop policies, and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful program execution.

The role requires a BSME with 5 years of engineering management experience, strong leadership, and extensive PLC/robotics expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or related experience.
• BSME with 5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PLC programming and robotics is required.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate activities of the plant engineering group to optimize efficiency and economy of operations.
• Develop and implement Manufacturing Engineering department policies and goals.
• Plan schedules and prioritize activities for new programs, engineering changes, and improved production methods.
• Supervise and direct activities of Manufacturing and Controls Engineers; manage budgets and vendor quotes.
