The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 6+ years of experience, with preference for advanced degrees and Lean/Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field).
• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers and coordinate activities to meet goals and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and tracking expenses.
• Oversee design, documentation, and approval processes for engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in management meetings, representing the engineering department.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members.
• Coordinate training programs to develop the technical skills of the engineering team.
• Present project updates and technical data to senior management and stakeholders.
