Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple Project Engineering teams across IAS programs, guiding strategic plans and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of complex aerospace systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive process improvements, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure compliance with DoD and A&D requirements; this hybrid role requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to operate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing large-scale engineering programs with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices and CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Project Engineering leads embedded in IAS programs.
• Develop strategic plans and align engineering efforts with organizational goals.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements for the PE Organization.
