Qualifications

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading a small team.
• Hands-on work with TS/React/Node.js across the full stack.
• Strong API design skills for synchronous and asynchronous services.
• Experience in agile development and roadmap prioritization.
• Product-minded communicator with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2–4 person application engineering team while remaining hands-on.
• Own team processes: agile ceremonies, cycle time, blockers, releases.
• Mentor and onboard engineers, conduct 1:1s and feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape a realistic roadmap.
• Promote agentic engineering practices and AI-assisted tooling.
• Improve velocity and quality using AI-enabled workflows.
