Job summary

NaviStone, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Cincinnati, OH. You will apply deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js to deliver high-quality software and help drive the company’s growth.

The role emphasizes ownership of architecture, collaboration across teams, and mentoring of peers. Hybrid role with in-office presence required, and a focus on scalable, reliable systems hosted on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in software development.
• Experience owning the architecture your code is deployed to, with familiarity working in AWS.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and non-relational databases.
• Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Experience building asynchronous APIs and event-driven backends is a plus.
• You will use leadership skills to direct engineering teams, guide managers, and support executives.
• You understand and champion techniques for improving engineering productivity.
• You foster positive work relationships and reinforce a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of major software components and features with high availability and reliability.
• Mentor team members through code and architecture reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with engineering managers to guide approach and execution of technical solutions.
• Own the architecture of the systems, including deployment and operations in AWS.
• Apply deep software engineering discipline and creativity to product design and support.
• Lead by example, driving decisions and showcasing technical and problem-solving skills.
