Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead two senior/mid-level engineering teams within the Software Development organization. The role focuses on high-quality code delivery, automation, and observability, while managing a portion of time for hands-on coding or reviews.

You will partner with stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Boarding, Implementation, and Product Operations to scope initiatives and streamline end-to-end business processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years as a software engineer with at least 1 year in people leadership.
• Experience delivering large projects with complex integrations.
• C# expertise required for engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead two technical teams of engineers and SDETs to deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure testing coverage, automation, and quality of code and tests.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and KPIs for observability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Boarding, Implementation, and Product Ops to deliver end-to-end processes.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development for team members.
