Job summary

MYRE serves nationwide EPC projects in electrical transmission, distribution, and substation work. The Engineering Manager oversees engineering and procurement, coordinating with third-party consultants and procurement teams to ensure timely design and as-built documentation.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, client engagement, and management of design deliverables from bidding through closeout, with a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design, engineering, or PM for electrical transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• PE licensure preferred.
• Construction/EPC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Define and establish project scope for alignment with client and third party consultants.
• Manage and coordinate detailed design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee related deliverables throughout the design lifecycle from bidding to as-builts.
• Coordinate project procurement activities with engineering subcontractors and the Procurement Manager, including bidding, specifications, and contracting.
• Work with material vendors to expedite procurement information and deliverables, or delegate these tasks to the Procurement Manager as needed.
• Define and prepare the project's engineering standards, specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily engineering subcontractor and procurement activities with the Project Executive and/or Project Manager.
• Support negotiations with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
