Job summary

MYR Energy Services seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution programs from bid to closeout. You will coordinate third-party engineers, manage design reviews, and support procurement and construction teams to deliver projects.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in design, engineering, or PM for electrical utilities, PE preferred, with strong vendor and client coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• PE licensure is preferred.
• 7+ years in design, engineering, or project management for electrical transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Define and establish project scope for alignment with client and third party consultants.
• Manage and coordinate detailed design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee deliverables from bidding to as-built.
• Coordinate project procurement activities with subcontractors and the Procurement Manager, including bidding, specs, and contracting.
• Support negotiations with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
