Job summary

MYR Energy Services is seeking an Engineering Manager (EPC) to oversee engineering and procurement for electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects from bid to closeout. You will manage engineering delivery through third-party consultants and coordinate design reviews with procurement and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 7+ years of design, engineering, or project management experience in electrical transmission/substation.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Define and establish project scope for alignment with client and third party consultants.
• Manage and coordinate detailed design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee deliverables from bid to as-builts.
• Coordinate project procurement activities with engineering subcontractors and the Procurement Manager.
• Work with material vendors to expedite procurement information and deliverables.
• Define and prepare the project's engineering standards, specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily engineering subcontractor and procurement activities with the Project Executive/Project Manager.
• Support negotiations with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
