Job summary

CAE is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the TSSC engineering team, develop and deploy training‐device software, and document changes across hardware and software baselines.

You will collaborate with CAE USA modification PMs, instructors, and SME to evaluate and test designs, attend meetings, and produce detailed technical documentation. A DoD environment familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in MIS, CS, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent, with 5 years in simulation.
• Experience in UNIX/LINUX environments and programming languages C/C++, FORTRAN and Ada.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong written communication.
• Wamiliarity with DoD/engineering change processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop assigned TSSC engineers and manage software deployments.
• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications.
• Test, review, witness and certify software; support test and evaluation activities.
• Coordinate test plans, design changes and documentation across groups.
• Provide technical direction to junior staff and collaborate with program managers.
