Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking an ambitious engineering leader to join our defense and simulation programs. You will lead Integrated Product Teams, coordinate planning, and drive technical program execution on flight simulator projects.

You will manage CAM reviews with IPTs, oversee cost and schedule performance, and interface with customers and suppliers. A strong background in DoD development, budgeting, and cross‑functional leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software, Systems, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of USG/DoD development program experience.
• 3+ years of Engineering Lead experience in USG/DoD development programs.
• 3+ years of experience with IBM/Rational or Atlassian development and collaboration tools, DOORS, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Microsoft Project.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex project initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• The PE performs as the technical lead over the assigned engineering team on a program, including leading/participating in program peer & gate reviews, supporting PMRs, and coordinating technical activity amongst the program IPTs.
• Perform weekly/monthly CAM reviews with IPTs and be responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance for the engineering content on a program.
• Communicates within and outside of the organization including customers or vendors.
• Accountable to a Directorate Chief Engineer (DCE) for proposing, developing and delivering Product Line solutions.
• Make significant improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area.
• Implement strategic goals established by leadership.
