Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio seeks an Engineering Manager to directly supervise project engineers, project managers, field technicians and third-party teams, guiding the technical execution from initial design through production and delivery. You will manage team financials and support client management and business development for IT, Telecom and Industrial segments.

This role requires strong leadership, engineering expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple disciplines while ensuring safety, quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred but not required if extensive relevant experience is shown.
Professional Engineering (PE) license is optional but beneficial.
6+ years of engineering and management experience are expected.
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead post-sales engineering team and manage the technical project execution from design through production and delivery.
Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines (Structural, Architectural, Thermal, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, BMS/Controls).
Ensure designs meet quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Collaborate with customer and GC to coordinate site work and permits.
Provide on-site support, failure analysis and startup assistance as needed.
