Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Structural Engineers and partner teams in delivering integrated modular data center solutions. You will oversee design-to-delivery, coordinate with customers, and manage budget and quality expectations across IT, telecom and industrial segments.

The role requires 6+ years in engineering management, familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and NEC/IBC standards, plus travel up to 20% domestically.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or demonstrated experience in lieu of degree.
• PE licensure optional but beneficial.
• 6+ years of engineering and management experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Familiarity with NEC, NBC/IBC codes and structural design standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervising and leading Structural Engineers and third-party teams.
• Oversee post-sales engineering from design to delivery to customer.
• Ensure designs meet quality and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, GC, and suppliers for project requirements.
• Travel 15–20% domestically for site reviews and support.
