Job summary

Vertiv, headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, seeks a Project Manager to lead national infrastructure and data center projects across thermal, power, battery and monitoring product lines.

You will drive projects from pre-sales through commissioning, coordinate cross-functional resources and maintain budgets while using Oracle, Smartsheet and Power BI to ensure seamless execution and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience in critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical and mechanical contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service.
• Excellent project management, detail oriented and organizational skills.
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
• Define and obtain the appropriate resources required to fulfill the project scope of work.
• Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups throughout the project.
• Work closely with the jobsite and field resources to ensure understanding and communication of the schedule, budget, and scope.
• Escalate and create urgency around any issues that would impede the success of the project; communicate with stakeholders.
• Follow reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for quality, schedule, and cost targets.
• Responsible for the financial performance on assigned projects; create cost budgets and maintain margins.
• Be proactive in establishing a culture of Safety for each project; host periodic safety meetings.
