Scale AI is seeking a senior leader to helм the Customer Platform Team, owning large product areas and ensuring seamless connectivity through API integration and distributed systems. You will drive strategy, architecture, and development of our connectivity solutions for internal users and customers.

The role calls for a track record of shipping high-quality products at scale, mentoring engineers, and thriving in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in New York City or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Willingness to lead, mentor, and influence engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Own large areas within the product and lead the Customer Platform Team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build features end-to-end: front-end, back-end, system design, testing and debugging.
• Drive API integration, distributed systems, and data platform improvements.
• Influence culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team.
• Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
