Job summary

Cloudera is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 3-6 person team focused on a cutting-edge data platform in multi- and hybrid‑cloud environments. You will mentor engineers, influence architecture and product decisions, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership or people management roles.
• Strong background in public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) with security, infra provisioning, containerization, and service enablement.
• Advanced Java and Python programming skills; Go and Javascript are a plus.
• Experience developing, deploying, and operating systems in production.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, container tech (Docker) and CI/CD like Jenkins.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across geographies.
• Passion for coaching and developing team members.
