Job summary

Cloudera is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 3-6 person team within the Public Cloud / R&D Core group. You will drive technical leadership, people management, and deliver on core platform capabilities for multi- and hybrid-cloud data management.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and collaborate across geographies to push forward scalable, secure data infrastructure. This role emphasizes on-site leadership in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related management experience.
• Experience in technical leadership or people management roles; willing to transition into people management.
• Strong background in public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-6 engineers focused on core platform capabilities.
• Influence platform design, architecture, and engineering quality across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver scalable solutions.
