Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a senior engineering leader in Franklin, NH to drive the engineering function for investment castings, ensuring quality and delivery targets. You will lead projects with customers and cross-functional teams, shaping processes and tools for economical production.

You will own P&L for scrap and rework, guide part introductions, and mentor engineers while coordinating with production control, quality, and sales to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent technical training.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• Casting experience is a plus; strong leadership is essential.
• Ability to multitask and leverage resources.
• Ability and desire to hold people accountable to schedules and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for scrap and rework; report results monthly.
• Own design and development of new part introduction; report results monthly.
• Translate business metrics into goals and project assignments for engineers and technicians.
• Manage capital projects related to process improvement.
• Direct, instruct, advise, and manage staff to schedules, methods, and performance standards.
• Hire and train engineers; maintain discipline and morale with staff and customers.
