Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join our plant team. You will drive manufacturing efficiency by applying engineering principles, leading technical projects, and implementing cost-effective safety, quality, and delivery improvements.

You will analyze current processes, develop future state plans, and collaborate across levels to deliver measurable results, including reducing scrap and improving equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
• Experience writing technical processing requirements for manufacturing.
• General knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and investment casting. Operations knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, evaluate, and lead current state analyses and drive future state projects.
• Research, select, and implement solutions using engineering methods.
• Collaborate with production staff, supervisors, and SMEs; present reports to leadership.
• Lead small groups and manage project budgets to stay on track.
• Develop and maintain Process Maps, PFMEAs, and control plans; monitor area performance with SPC.
