Job summary
Bosch Rexroth is seeking an Engineering Manager for Mechanical Conveyance to lead a skilled team focused on lifecycle management, local manufacturing support, and customization of conveyance systems.
You will bridge developers, purchasing, and global partners, ensuring efficient modifications under MODI and cost-effective production. A strong background in sustaining engineering and cost-driven design is required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in mechanical design/engineering
- 3+ years in leadership roles
- Experience with sustaining engineering and DTC/Value Engineering
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing, tooling, and cost-reduction initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary mechanical engineering team.
- Coordinate sustaining engineering work packages and customer modifications.
- Interface with MODI team in Germany and US Application Team.
- Ensure BOM accuracy and engineering change control in PLM/SAP.
- Drive cost-optimizing design changes and localized sourcing.
