Job summary

Bosch in the United States seeks a group leader for manufacturing process engineering to lead day-to-day engineering and problem solving in the Electric Rack Steering assembly area. You will drive targets for safety, quality, cost and delivery by reducing scrap and cycle time while guiding a team of engineers.

You will collaborate with Planning, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Logistics to ensure targets are met, manage budgets, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Experience with assembly processes.
• Strong leadership and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinker with experience using problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Directs engineering work for manufacturing engineers supporting scrap reduction and cycle-time improvements.
• Leads continuous improvement to safety, quality and productivity.
• Manages budgets for line-improvement activities and builds business cases.
• Ensures equipment OEE, rejects/FTT, and scrap cost targets are met.
• Coordinates engineering changes with design, quality and logistics teams.
