Job summary

Talanto is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the App Experiences team, focusing on frontend across iOS, Android, and Web. You will coach engineers, shape multi-quarter roadmaps, and drive architectural decisions for consumer-facing experiences.

You’ll empower senior engineers, ensure system reliability, and align with product and design partners to deliver cohesive user journeys. The role requires 7+ years in software engineering and 3+ years in leadership, with strong React/React Native

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity.
• Technical judgment to guide architecture, quality, and reliability decisions; empower senior engineers.
• Experience leading major technical initiatives end-to-end, including re-platforming efforts.
• Familiar with modern full-stack development using React/React Native and a backend-for-frontend.
• Calm, decisive leadership through change and ambiguity with strong communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a balanced team of engineers, setting expectations and giving feedback.
• Own the team's technical strategy and multi-quarter roadmap aligned to product initiatives.
• Empower tech leads and engineers in technical design and cross-functional alignment.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of consumer-facing systems.
• Drive alignment across organizations and influence partner experience roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics and other teams to build trust.
