Job summary

Qualifications

• Direct people management experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong software development experience with Java, web services and system architecture.
• Familiar with Linux/Unix, bash, microservices and distributed systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication with cross-team collaboration.
• In-depth hands-on proficiency with AI development tools and evaluating AI outputs.
• Experience assessing candidates’ ability to formulate prompts and manage multi-agent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, empower, and develop a team delivering APIs, logging, monitoring, performance tuning, and datastore services.
• Develop short- and long-term product and operational strategies with PM and architecture teams.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Drive software quality, security, and resilience via code reviews, CI, and incident response.
• Coach engineers to grow into higher-level system design and architecture work in AI-augmented contexts.
• Integrate AI tools into daily development cycles with proper feedback loops and human review when needed.
• Guard architectural integrity and security standards as AI increases code volume; audit AI-generated code.
