Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join the AI Trust and Governance engineering team, guiding architecture, platform innovation, and large-scale distributed systems. You will collaborate with product, architecture, and platform partners to design scalable, cloud-native services powering Salesforce's AI governance mission.

As a senior IC, you will set technical direction, mentor engineers, tackle complex challenges, and raise the bar for the team, with emphasis on core

Qualifications

BS or higher degree in Computer Science.
4+ years industry experience in system or database internals programming.
4+ years technical leadership in architecture and design of enterprise server platform or systems.
Deep expertise with distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
Experience with highly concurrent multi-threaded/multi-process data structures and design.
An innovator's mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented attitude.
Ability to learn fast and deliver high quality code in a fast-paced, dynamic agile team environment.
Strong Java or C programming skills.

Responsibilities

Design new architecture to solve complex scalability problems and drive architecture decisions.
Build comprehensive functional and system-level tests for your area, ensuring quality and reliability.
Take features end-to-end and influence design and implementation direction across teams.
